AI for distributors and retailers
A warehouse takes orders by email, by WhatsApp, by phone, at the trade counter and through the sales rep. Supplier delivery notes come in every morning. The sales reps are out on the road and ring in for prices. And management wants to know how the month is going without waiting for someone to put the report together.
It’s the same in electrical supplies, food and drink, agricultural supplies, stationery or spare parts. That’s where what we do works best.
Four problems, four pieces
Orders arrive from five places. Capture collects them all, the AI reads them and your team only checks the doubtful ones before they go into the system.
Delivery notes and invoices get typed in by hand. Document reading turns them into data, matches them against the order and flags anything that doesn’t fit.
The team asks the same things every day. An assistant with your data gives a customer’s price, stock and last order, and says where it got them.
Management doesn’t have clear figures. A dashboard with sales, margins, tied-up stock and customers who are buying less, kept up to date and with the source of every figure.
The demo is exactly this
We’ve built a made-up electrical supplies distributor, Hontanel Suministros Eléctricos, with 408 items, 60 customers and two years of sales. Ask it which customers have cut back this quarter, which items haven’t moved in six months or how much stock is left of an RCD. Read one of its delivery notes. Look at its management dashboard.
Delivery note A26/1587 · what the AI read
| Code | Item | Qty | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| CAB-0010 | H07V-K 2.5 mm² cable, 100 m reel | 5 | €202.54 |
| CAN-0030 | Surface-mount junction box 100×100Doubtful | 21 or 27? | €41.15 |
| CUA-0027 | DIN-rail feed-through terminal 4 mm² | 62 | €39.09 |
The quantity is smudged. Only 21 matches the line amount: the demo suggests 21 and asks you to confirm it.
With your ERP, not instead of it
You won’t change your management software. What we build connects to the one you already use, reads from it and writes to it under the same rules as your team. If you need a piece your software doesn’t have, such as a portal for sales reps, we build it to measure.
If you have a shop
For shops that sell to the public, the pieces are smaller: a fast website, an assistant that answers questions about opening hours, availability and special orders, and alerts when an order is ready to collect.
On the region’s industrial estates
We work with warehouses and distributors across Castilla-La Mancha, from the industrial estates of Toledo and Albacete to those of Ciudad Real. We do the diagnosis in your warehouse, watching a real order come in.
Questions from distributors
Does it work with our management software?
There’s almost always a way to connect. We check during the diagnosis, before proposing anything, and if there isn’t one, we tell you.
Do the sales reps have to learn something new?
As little as possible. The portal and the assistant work on a phone and are used like a search engine. We give them a training session and then we’re on hand.
Does the demo contain data from any of your customers?
No. Everything about Hontanel is made up and generated by code: the company, the customers, the people, the figures and the documents.
Shall we look at it with your data?
Try the demo and, if you recognise your business in it, let’s talk.
